Hello Steemains,
Generally, when I have a cardboard box in the recycling bin it is painting day!!! I find that painting on the cardboard box gives a bigger painting area and strangely that also facilitates the cleaning.
I put some drops of paint here and there, I have brushes with big handles because my friends daughter is still young.
She is going to have fun with brushes, but generally, she loves to paint with her hands.
The benefits of painting for children:
It is a way of expressing feelings and emotions without having to use words.
Development eye-hand coordination which is very important for the young children.
Development of the concentration
Encourage the self-esteem, because there are no rules to follow the child is not going to be afraid of the failure.
Stimulate child senses.
Exploring colors.
Develop fine motor skills.
Because the cardboard is on the floor, it helps to develop large muscles control as well as balance.
Cause and effect the various brushes are going to have various marks...
We are going to let the creativity of the child express itself through its own art without guiding him. Creativity is what is going to help the children to think outside the box. It is giving them an opportunity to explore new ideas.
