Tsarevets is one of the many landmarks we have in our small town of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria). This is a fortress of the same name, which has existed since 1185. This was the main Bulgarian fortress during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom, when Tarnovo was still the capital.
