This is my original song, "Maracajá". The maracajas, or margay cats, are nocturnal small wild cats endemic to the Amazon rainforest. The song itself is an instrumental Techno-Baião, which is, as you can infer, a mixture between techno/electronica and Baião, a notheastern Brazilian musical genre, made famous by the likes of Luiz Gonzaga and Dominguinhos. The drum MIDI controller is an old BOSS DR-5, and the drum and synth sounds were synthesized using FabFilter's Twin 2 (iPad version). The "meowing" in the breakdown involved also FabFilter Volcano and Timeless.
