Details
pyCoin is a blockchain-based crypto currency written in the python programming language. Blockchain is a digital ledger in which transactions made in bitcoin or another cryptocurrency are recorded chronologically and publicly. Their source code is developed under an open source licence so anyone can review it, provide feedback and even offer contributions at any time on Github and their website on http://pycoin.herokuapp.com/.
Their brief is to get a logo for their coin in the market of digital currency. Because the digital currency rightnow is so liquid, I think they had to bring a logo that similar to other coin but easily memorized by using letter of P and Y.
Benefits / Improvements
Modern look of this logo made by mixing currency and P & y letter. I came with that idea after view a typical of other coin in the web (see here). I'm using 3 type of fonts blended in this logo, "Autoradiographic Rg, Bauhaus 93, and Play", link to font is preserved below.
Tools
I'm using CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2017 to trace and make vector logo. Here is the screenshot I took as proof of work.
