Taking pictures of horses is great, but what if they are in black and white? Even cooler, or not? 馃槃
This is a second series of photographs of these animals during my visit to the Palermo racetrack in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires and I could not discard the option of having these images in this style. As I always think... the absence of colors, the achromatic makes an image more expressive.
Tomarle fotos a los caballos es genial, pero 驴Que tal si son en blanco y negro? M谩s genial a煤n, o no? 馃槃
脡sta es una segunda serie de fotograf铆as de estos animales durante mi visita al hip贸dromo de Palermo en la ciudad aut贸noma de Buenos Aires y no pod铆a desechar la opci贸n de tener 茅stas im谩genes en este estilo. C贸mo siempre pienso... la ausencia de colores, el acrom谩tico hace de una imagen m谩s expresiva.
Going out of what I usually do with photography there are always good opportunities to enter into the new, the different and that is the special thing about wanting to be integral in what we do. To embrace different styles or types of photography is a decision that I have made and that I am developing with time and circumstances.
The fourth horsemen? Well, I don't know if there are really four horsemen in this series 馃槄 but that title immediately came to my mind and it only has to do with a Metallica song from their first LP titled "Kill 'Em All".
Saliendo de lo que habitualmente hago con la fotograf铆a siempre hay buenas oportunidades para entrar en lo nuevo, lo diferente y eso es lo especial de querer ser integral en lo que hacemos. Abarcar diferentes estilos o tipos de fotograf铆as es una decisi贸n tomada que voy desarrollando con el tiempo y las circunstancias.
驴Los cuarto jinetes? Bueno, no s茅 si realmente en esta serie hay cuatro jinetes 馃槄 pero inmediatamente se vino a mi mente ese t铆tulo y solamente tiene que ver con una canci贸n de Metallica de su primer LP titulado "Kill 'Em All".
Most of these photos were taken with a 70-300mm lens, a few with the 18-55mm kit lens. In addition to capturing these beautiful animals running around the track and competing with each other, I took other detail shots of some of the structures on the site.
Building with a lot of classic style and important architecture.
La mayor铆a de 茅stas fotos las tom茅 con un lente 70-300mm, pocas con el lente de kit 18-55mm. Adem谩s de captar a estos hermosos animales corriendo por la pista y compitiendo entre s铆, tom茅 otras fotos en detalle de parte de las estructuras del lugar.
Edificaci贸n con mucho estilo cl谩sico e importante arquitectura.
It was a different afternoon and quite a nice experience for us as I attended with my family to get out of the routine and appreciate these animals, the old structure of the place and spend some time with the family. Always being armed with the camera and a pair of lenses 馃槑
These last two photos are kind of a bonus, extra portraits of my wife and son.

Fu茅 una tarde diferente y una experiencia bastante agradable para nosotros ya que asist铆 en familia para salir de la rutina y apreciar 茅stos animales, la antigua estructura del lugar y pasar rato en familia. Siempre estando armado con la c谩mara y un par de lentes 馃槑
脡stas 煤ltimas dos fotos son una especie de bono, un extra de retratos a mi esposa e hijo.
脡sta es mi entrada para el reto monomad el d铆a de hoy y espero que hayan disfrutado de estas interesantes im谩genes. Un abrazo para todos y que tengan un excelente fin de semana 馃枻馃摳
