I saw this movie in the year it was released! It is very good and the acting of the main actors is impeccable. However, the movie develops between passion and madness (personal opinion). The drummer wants so much to reach the top of success that he doesn't measure the consequences of what his teacher can cause. This happens very often in reality, many music teachers especially are of this obsessive type where they try to get results regardless of the mental health of the student. I have played an instrument for years and I have studied and seeing the way he pushed him to have an exact tempo in the execution made me anxious haha it is an excess, but as for the film it is simply amazing.
