Hello to all friends! I present a beautiful place that I visited during my tour of the northern area of the city of Buenos Aires, after a long journey and passing through places I had never seen before, I finally reached the Memory Park.
It is a place dedicated to the victims of state terrorism, very far from the center of the city and in its vicinity it borders the University of Buenos Aires and the Aeroparque. It is located in front of the Rio de la Plata on Costanera Norte Avenue.
Hola a todos amigos! Les presento un hermoso lugar que visité durante mi recorrido por la zona norte de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, después de un largo trayecto y de pasar por lugares que jamás había visto, finalmente pude llegar al Parque de la Memoria.
Es un lugar dedicado a las víctimas del terrorismo de estado, muy retirado del centro de la ciudad y en sus cercanías limita con la universidad de Buenos Aires y el Aeroparque. Ubicado frente al Río de la Plata sobre la Avenida Costanera Norte.
It is a quite extensive park in which there are different types of tributes in different sectors of the place. It is a place of remembrance and awareness, so that current and future generations have knowledge of the horrors committed by the state.
On long bridges there are posters of events that were witnessed or experienced in the country, as well as sculptures and architectures that symbolize these events. This was one of the reasons why I wanted to make this trip and stop here to know it, in addition to its beauty in terms of art, obviously.
Es un parque bastante extenso en el cual se encuentran distintos tipos de homenajes en diferentes sectores del lugar. Es un lugar de recuerdos y de consciencia, para que las generaciones actuales y futuras tengan conocimiento de los horrores cometidos por el estado.
En largos puentes están fijados carteles de sucesos que se presenciaron o que se vivieron en el país, así como también esculturas y arquitecturas que simbolizan estos hechos. Ésta fue una de las razones por las cuales quise hacerte este viaje y parar acá a conocerlo, además de su belleza en cuánto al arte, obviamente.
The park has 14 hectares and its location is not a coincidence, since it is located 300 meters from the metropolitan airport from where the so-called death flights departed, which referred to flights that transported kidnapped people who were thrown into the river.
All this happened during the last dictatorship and the events of state terrorism during the period 1976 - 1983. It was created in 1998 and has many different spaces to visit, such as:
El parque cuenta con 14 hectáreas y su ubicación no es casual ni coincidencia, pues se encuentra ubicado a 300 metros del aeroparque metropolitano desde donde partían los denominados vuelos de la muerte, que se referían a vuelos dónde transportaban personas secuestradas que eran arrojadas al río.
Todo esto sucedido durante la última dictadura y los sucesos de terrorismo de estado durante el periodo de los años 1976 - 1983. Fue creado en el año 1998 y cuenta mucho diversos espacios para visitar, como lo son:
- Centro de información sobre los desaparecidos.
- Sala PAyS
- Sala donde se desarrollan actividades artísticas.
- Obras de arte, esculturas y arquitecturas.
The park was in the category of visual arts entities where it received the Konex Platinum Award. It is a park that is usually visited by people with the intention of visiting and spending the day doing outdoor activities, sports, bicycles, picnics and many more.
This is precisely the type of tours that he likes to do because it is a reason for learning and knowledge.
El parque estuvo en la categoría de entidades de artes visuales en dónde recibió el premio Konex de platino . Es un parque que habitualmente es visitado por personas con intenciones tanto de conocer como de pasar el día realizando actividades al aire libre, deportes, bicicletas, picnic y muchas más.
Este es precisamente el tipo de recorridos que mas le agrada hacer ya que es motivo de aprendizaje y conocimientos.
