Hello to all Hive friends and architecture lovers! Greetings to all members of the Architecture and Design community. Today I want to share with you all some details and a review of what is the architecture, style and history of this building that houses the general direction of customs located in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires, specifically in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero.
The day I took these pictures I was walking around the neighborhood looking for reflections to make some captures in this style while it was still raining in the city and I decided to walk through areas that I had not yet known and so it was when I came across this amazing building with a French academicist style that I did not know and also took the opportunity to take some reflections in addition.
Let's see some pictures of this building that was inaugurated more than 100 years ago, in October 1910.
Hola a todos amigos de Hive y amantes de la arquitectura! Saludos a todos los miembros de la comunidad de Arquitectura y Diseño. El día de hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes algunos detalles y una reseña de lo que es la arquitectura, estilo e historia de este edificio que alberga la dirección general de aduanas ubicada en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires, específicamente en el barrio de Puerto Madero.
El día que tomé éstas fotos estaba caminando por el barrio buscando reflejos para hacer algunas capturas en este estilo mientras aún llovía en la ciudad y decidí caminar por zonas que aún no habia conocido y así fue cuando me topé con este asombroso edificio con un estilo academicista francés que no conocía y que también aproveche de tomar algunos reflejos de manera adicional.
Veamos algunas fotografías de este edificio que fue inaugurado hace más de 100 años, para el mes de octubre del año 1910.
Both views of this building are impressive, the main photo which is the cover photo shows the back façade and the following ones show the main façade which is located over the President Juan Domingo Perón square, however from different points of the neighborhood or the area it is possible to admire parts of this building especially its twin towers which are visible from several angles.
One of the main and outstanding attractions is also the great Argentinean coat of arms that is located on its main facades next to the giant name of ADUANA.
This work is the responsibility of the architects Pablo Hary and Eduardo Lanús, the building is constituted by three additional floors to the first floor and in addition to the subsoil, in addition there are in the interior more than 20 halls and almost 100 stores.
Ambas vistas de este edificio son impresionantes, la foto principal que es la foto de portada muestra la fachada trasera y las siguientes muestran la fachada principal que se encuentra sobre la plaza presidente Juan Domingo Perón, sin embargo desde distintls puntos del barrio o la zona es posible admirar partes de este edificio sobretodo sus dos torres gemelas que quedan a la vista desde varios ángulos.
Uno de los atractivos principales y destacados también es en gran escudo argentino que se encuentra en sus fachadas principales junto al gigante nombre de ADUANA.
Ésta obra es responsabilidad de los arquitectos Pablo Hary y Eduardo Lanús, el edificio está constituido por tres pisos adicionales a la planta baja y además del subsuelo, además se encuentran en el interior más de 20 salones y casi 100 locales.
The building is one of the most attractive in the area in terms of classical architecture, in this case French academicist, remembering that the Puerto Madero neighborhood is considered to house very modern constructions, buildings and businesses. This building cannot go unnoticed because of its imposing style where its large columns at the entrances and its large windows stand out at first sight.
This place can be visited in its interior on specific days and it would be interesting to be able to access to share with you what would be the interior design, its corridors, halls and premises.
In the upper part there are also mausoleums on both sides characteristic of this type of classical architecture. In 2009, during the government of President Cristina Kirchner, it was declared a national historic monument.
El edificio es uno de las más atractivos de la zona en cuanto a arquitectura clásica en este caso academicista francés recordando que el barrio de Puerto Madero es considerado por albergar construcciones muy modernas, edificios y empresariales. Este edificio no puede pasar desapercibido por su imponente estilo en dónde se destacan a simple vista sus grandes columnas en sus entradas y sus ventanales.
Este lugar puede ser visitado en su interior en días específicos y sería interesante poder acceder para compartir con ustedes lo que sería el diseño interior, sus pasillos, salones y locales.
En la parte superior se encuentran además mausoleos de ambos lados característicos de este tipo de arquitecturas clásicas. Para el año 2009 durante el gobierno de la presidente Cristina Kirchner fue declarado monumento histórico nacional.
