Cryptogene, a new blockchain startup has been launched in Nigeria with the sole aim of bringing blockchain technology to the mainstream of Nigeria through education where members will learn and get acquitted to the emerging cryptocurrency ecosystem. Cryptogene was launched on Dec 14 2016, by Bashir Aminu as i would like to call him a cryptocurrency freak. The community hope to create a learning community where African's can easily dive into the booming cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Cryptogene aims at multi-platform hub which will be tokenized to elicit commitment and keep interest alive among users. The Cryptogene Token, CGT will be the base currency.

CRYPTOGENE TOKEN
Cyptogene Token is the first of its kind. The token will exist on both the ethereum and waves platforms. While the smart contracts will be run on the ethereum blockchain, with code name XGT ,wave blockchain will be used foor its ico.

Cryptogene ICO
Cryptogene ICO will be divided into 4 Stages with a limited token of 3 Million CGT made available for sale during this final phase of the ICO. Each Stage would run for 5 days with an allocation of 750,000 CGT for sale per stage. Token sales begin on the first with 40% bonus on every purchase, and ends on the fourth week with 10% bonus. So, you get bonuses ranging from 40% in the first stage, to 10% at the end of the last stage. All other unused tokens will be burnt.
