Nobody can ever claim to be self sufficient. You have to work in teams. You, as an individual cannot perform all tasks by yourself. Its always best to team up with people of different skills and expertise in order to have a strong synergy. Teaming up with the same kind of people with the same skills can only work if the same task is required to be done and cannot be performed by a single person.
The most important aspect of a team is how work is distributed among the team members. The other aspect of a successful team is its team leader. Needs to be friendly, open to suggestions, open to helping out team members, making team members feel empowered by asking them questions, etc. Above all, the team lead needs to understand and embrace the diversity in the team.
