Winners

This is the winners announcement post for the contest "Voting Bots and Vote Values – What Vote Returns Worth?". The steemit rewards algorithm analyzed in detail in this post of @dragosrua, in a very clear way, that makes easy for everyone to understand how the rewards shared.

The participants had to answer to these questions:

If you spend 1 SBD to a voting bot to upvote your post, what must be the minimum vote value to get back your 1 SBD ?
What SP (steem power) will you get from that vote?
(in our case, this is really what your profit will be from the vote)

Contest Assumptions: STEEM price $6 USD

I was very happy to see that many of the participants had the knowlege to calculate these values.

CORRECT ANSWERS

In the above table you can see the calculations and the results of them in detail, for 2.66 and 2.67 vote values.
I was not able to verify how steemit rounds the numbers, so trying to be as fair as possible, i considered correct all the answers for Vote Values 2.66 or 2.67 AND SP 0.166 or 0.167. Both Vote Values are very close to the 1 SBD we spent for the bid to the voting bots. The 2.66 vote returns back just 0,0025 less than 1 SBD and the 2.67 vote returns 0.0013 more than 1 SBD.

Regarding the steem power (SP) the 0.166875 value can be rounded to 0.167 or cut down to 0.166 depending on how steemit algorithm rounds the numbers, that I have no clue about it.
