The striated heron (Butorides striata) also known as mangrove heron, little heron or green-backed heron, is a small heron, about 44 cm tall. Striated herons are mostly non-migratory and noted for some interesting behavioral traits.
Sunday morning around 6am i woke up and decided to go out in the park where i always shoot. it's just walking distance from my place.
I always starts on the east side of the park so that the sun is behind me. Odd today. I not saw much birds and decided to walk in the center part of the park. while looking to the east sky i saw the striated heron :) but the sunrise is now facing me :( I still shoot.
