however, there was a mod that just came out, which left me IMPRESSED, as it has everything from cool animations to incredible difficulty along with cool mechanics, a mod that rivals the Vs. Tricky mod (the best fnf mod so far), that's right, I'm talking about Friday Night Funkin: Vs. Indie Cross, Without more to say, let's get started with the post!
Indie Cross Mod is a mod created by BrightFyre, an independent developer who has been creating mods for Friday Night Funkin for the past year. He has produced over 6 mods in that time, however, this is one of my favorites, as it combines two of my favorite things: indie games and music.
In this mod, BF takes on several popular icons from this part of the video game industry, being sans from undertale, cuphead from "Cuphead" and bendy from the ink machine. This with a great soundtrack along with several amazing mechanics, which I will talk about now.
In this mod each character has 3 songs + some extras, each with their shared mechanics, among these mechanics are: dodge, attack and death arrows, being one of the most common mechanics because there are more that are unique to each opponent ( like for example the sans mechanics, which are blue and orange skeleton arrows)

The soundtrack is something that although it stands out for the variety of artists it has, I didn't like it very much, this is because of the sudden change of BF's vocals that there is with each song, which is quite noticeable (this is due to the change of composer with each song), but if you listen to the songs separately and not in a row, they are quite good.
My favorite week is sans, this because of its difficulty and great soundtrack, which has many references to the game from which it comes, in addition, its great genocidal route has one of the songs that I like the most, being Burnin in Hell my favourite.
In addition, this mod has animations with a fluidity never seen before in FNF mods, since apart from being semi-long, they also have a very good voice acting, being one of the mods with the best animations in the history of the game. FNF modding.

Now let's move on to the end of this post and a question that several will be asking, is this mod better than VS Tricky? YES AND NO and I'll tell you why I think so.
While this mod has some of the best animations, mechanics and soundtrack that can be found in the community, the truth is that this mod would not be in the base game of friday night funkin (i.e. the game created by ninjamuffin).
Why? Well this mod has one big problem and that is its main theme, indies. Apart from the fact that its graphic style is not as faithful as the base game, its theme plays against it a lot, because it is not something that we would see inside the Friday Night Funkin game, a smurfs mod could be the best of the whole community, but it is very out of tune with the main idea of the game, to give an example.
So, is it an excellent mod? Yes, but it only remains in that, in being a mod, it is not something that we could see inside the base game. Something that changes if we talk about VS Tricky or the challenges of FNF Online, mods that we COULD see inside the game.

sin embargo, hubo un mod que acaba de salir, el cual me dejo IMPRESIONADO, ya que tiene de todo, desde animaciones chulas hasta dificultad increíble junto a mecánicas geniales, un mod que rivaliza al mod de Vs. Tricky (el mejor mod de fnf hasta ahora), así es, hablo de Friday Night Funkin: Vs. Indie Cross, ¡Sin más que decir, empecemos con el post!
Indie Cross Mod es un mod creado por BrightFyre, un desarrollador independiente que ha estado creando mods para Friday Night Funkin durante el último año. Ha producido más de 6 mods en ese tiempo, sin embargo, este es uno de mis favoritos, pues combina dos de mis cosas favoritas: juegos independientes y música.
En este mod, BF se enfrenta a varios íconos populares de esta parte de la industria de los videojuegos, siendo sans de undertale, cuphead de "Cuphead" y bendy de the ink machine. Esto con una gran banda sonora junto a varias mecánicas increíbles, de lo cual hablaré ahora.
En este mod cada personaje tiene 3 canciones + algunas extras, cada una con sus mecánicas compartidas, entre estas mecánicas están: esquivar, atacar y flechas de muerte, siendo unas de las mecánicas más comunes pues hay más que son únicas de cada oponente (como por ejemplo las mecánicas de sans, las cuales son flechas de esqueleto azul y naranja)

El soundtrack es algo que si bien destaca por la variedad de artistas que tiene, no me gustó mucho, esto por el cambio repentino de vocales de BF que hay con cada canción, lo cual se nota bastante (esto debido al cambio de compositor con cada canción), pero si las canciones las escuchas por separado y no seguidas, están bastante bien.
Mi semana favorita es la de sans, esto por su dificultad y gran banda sonora, la cual tiene muchas referencias al juego del cual este proviene, además, su gran ruta genocida tiene una de las canciones que más me gusta, siendo Burnin in Hell mi favorita.
Además, este mod tiene unas animaciones con una fluidez nunca antes vista en los mods de FNF, ya que aparte de que son semi-largas, también tienen una actuación de voz muy buena, siendo uno de los mods con mejores animaciones en la historia del modding de FNF.

Ahora pasemos con el final de este post y una pregunta que varios se estarán haciendo, este mod es mejor que ¿VS Tricky? SÍ Y NO y te diré el porqué de mi opinión.
Si bien este mod tiene de las mejores animaciones, mecánicas y banda sonora que puede haber en la comunidad, la verdad es que este mod no estaría dentro del juego base de friday night funkin (es decir, el juego creado por ninjamuffin)
¿Por qué? Pues este mod tiene un gran problema y es su tema principal, los indies. Aparte de que su estilo gráfico no es tan fiel como el del juego base, su temática le juega mucho en contra, pues no es algo que veríamos dentro del juego de Friday Night Funkin, un mod de pitufos podría ser el mejor de toda la comunidad, pero desentona mucho con la idea principal del juego, por dar un ejemplo.
Entonces, ¿es un excelente mod? Sí, pero solo se queda en eso, en ser un mod, no es algo que podríamos ver dentro del juego base. Algo que cambia si hablamos de VS Tricky o los desafíos de FNF Online, mods que SÍ podríamos ver dentro del juego.
