📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography #181 : Liberators

This monument is found on the Malecón 2000 in Guayquil, Southern Ecuador. There are many monuments, parks, cafes etc. Along the Malecón. This is one of them. It shows the encounter of the two liberators José de San Martin, who was from Argentina, and Simón Bolivar who was from Venezuela. The meeting took place in 1822. They were fighting for freedom from the Spanish. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-cityscape-photography-round-181
