So nice they have to have security gates on the front door! I well remember staircases like that in the 70's they smelt of urine. When I was working in The City 76/77 I was going to rent a flat in Silvertown. The Council was renting them out at a ridiculous rent of about £15 a week (I think?). Trouble was, the front door was a solid steel plate as was the door surround and every flat was burgled at least once a month. LOL Those were the days.
