In a nursing home, a man named Doc visits Mrs. Hamilton to read her a story; she does not know him even though he is a roommate of the nursing home.
His story begins by saying that Noa goes to a town park where he is fascinated by the beauty of a young woman named Alis who was from a rich family and was spending her holidays there.
Noa asks her to dance but she refuses, although he insists in various ways she rejects him, until she does the unimaginable, giving positive results by accepting his invitation.
When they meet, she tells him that she will not go out with him, although a few nights later her friend makes them meet at the cinema, making them closer. Noa, accompanying Alis to her house, invites her to a dance in the middle of the street, turning it into a magical moment that would mark their entire lives.
The next few days they spent together, they became inseparable, their love growing day by day. Noa takes her to an abandoned house where she talks to her about her dreams and future projects about buying the place, including her in everything, promising to decorate it to her liking.
Everything was going well until Alis' parents invite Noa to meet him. He attends the day, but it does not end on good terms since the parents, upon finding out that he is poor, do not accept it, telling their daughter that it is not good for her, emphasizing the class difference. She confronts them but they still walk away, causing them both sadness.
Alis goes with her family far away to study at the university, while Noa stayed in the town but her love was so much that she wrote her letters every day in the hope that she would answer so she could go meet her wherever she was, but after a year Noa never received an answer since Alis's mother intercepted them by hiding them.
Noa enrolls in the army after a time of training for Atlanta, while Alis, who was in her third year of university, signs up as a volunteer nurse, falling in love with a soldier she cured, at the same time he asks her to marry him, accepting, still remembering Noa.
On the other hand, Noa returns home and her father gives her the house she dreamed of so much as a gift, repairing it in the hope of finding Alis and living there together.
Time passed when by chance Noa sees Alis but when she follows her she can see that she is with another man.
After some time, Alis sees Noa in an advertisement in the newspaper with her finished house, the house that they both dreamed of so much, so she returns to the town in search of it, upon arriving and seeing each other it was as if time had not passed, after talking and spending the days together they once again lived that great love, until Alis's mother went in search of her, she gave her all the letters that Noa had sent her that she hid for so long, advising her to make the right decision.
Alis lived with Noa for the rest of her life.
But....where Doc and Mrs. Hamilton are in this narrative, I will tell you, Mrs. Hamilton has senile dementia and almost never remembers anything, so Doc reads her a beautiful story every day in order to spend time together, because Doc tells her the story of his Love, he reads her the diary that Alis Hamilton dedicated with so much love to Noa, her husband and companion Doc.
During the film we can see how at times Mrs. Hamilton has memories about her life, she even ends up dancing with her love, but they are only minutes because she loses her memories again. We also see that they are visited by some boys who are their children and grandchildren, fruits of that beautiful love.
As the day passes, Doc joins Mrs. Hamilton in her room and after some beautiful words of love they fall asleep together, dying the next morning.
This film has a unique meaning, true love, no matter the distance, the social difference, the obstacles, when there are two people who love each other, nothing else is needed. Noa's love was so much that even when Alis was an old woman with senile dementia who did not remember anything or know anyone, he was there for her, accompanying her and caring for her at all times.
I particularly loved it, it made me cry my eyes out, it was really very sentimental and beautiful, in addition to the plot, the landscapes are impressive. If you are a lover of love movies, I recommend them a million times.

En un hogar de anciano un hombre llamado Doc visita a la Se帽ora Hamilton para leerle una historia, ella no lo conoce aun siendo vecino de cuarto del asilo.
Comienza su historia diciendo que Noa asiste a un parque del pueblo donde queda fascinado por la belleza de una joven, llamada Alis que era de una familia rica y estaba pasando las vacaciones ah铆.
Noa le pide bailar pero ella se niega, aunque 茅l insiste de varias formas ella lo rechaza, hasta que hace lo inimaginable dando resultados positivo aceptando su invitaci贸n.
Cuando se encuentran, ella le dice que no saldr谩 con el, aunque a las pocas noches su amiga hace que se encuentren en el cine haciendo un acercamiento entre ambos, Noa al acompa帽ar a Alis para su casa la invita en un baile en el medio de la calle convirti茅ndolo en un momento magico, que marcar铆a para toda sus vidas.
Los pr贸ximos d铆as lo pasan juntos, se volvieron inseparables su amor crec铆a dia a d铆a. Noa la lleva a una casa abandonada donde le habla de sus sue帽os y proyectos futuros sobre la compra del lugar incluyendola en todo, prometiendole decorar a su gusto.
Todo transcurr铆a bien hasta que los padres de Alis le hacen una invitaci贸n a Noa para conocerlo, este asiste al d铆a sigue, pero no termina en buenos t茅rminos ya que los padres al enterarse de que es pobre no lo aceptan diciendole a su hija que no es bueno para ella recalcando la diferencia de clases. 脡sta los enfrenta pero igual se alejan, causandoles una tristeza a ambos.
Alis se va con su familia lejos para estudiar en la universidad, mientras Noa se qued贸 en en el pueblo pero era tanto su amor que le escribi贸 cartas cada d铆a con la esperanza que le contestara para ir a reunirse con ella donde quiera que estuviera, pero luego de un a帽o Noa nunca recibi贸 contesta ya que la madre de Alis las interseptaba escondiendolas.
Noa se inscribe en el ej茅rcito tras un tiempo de midarse para Atlanta, mientras Alis que estaba en tercer a帽o de universidad se anota como enfermera voluntaria enamorandose de un soldado que cur贸, al tiempo este le pide matrimonio aceptando aun recordando a Noa.
Por otra parte Noa regresa a casa y su padre le da de regalo la casa que tanto so帽aba, reparandola con la esperanza de encontrar a Alis y vivirla juntos.
Pas贸 el tiempo cuando por casualidad Noa ve a Alis pero cuando la sigue puede observar que est谩 con otro hombre.
Al cabo del tiempo Alis ve en un anuncio del peri贸dico a Noa con su casa terminada,la casa que tanto so帽aron ambos, entonces regresa al pueblo en su b煤squeda, al llegar y verse era como si el tiempo no hubiese pasado, luego de conversar y pasar los dias juntos otra vez vivieron ese amor tan grande, hasta que la madre de Alis fue en su b煤squeda, ella le entreg贸 todas las cartas que le hab铆a mandado Noa que ella escondio por tanto tiempo, aconsejandola que tomara la decisi贸n correcta.
Asi mismo pas贸 Alis vivi贸 con Noa por el resto de su vida.
Pero....donde queda Doc y la Se帽ora Hamilton en esta narrativa, les dir茅, la Se帽ora Hamilton tiene demencia senil y casi nunca recuerda nada, por lo que Doc todos los dias le lee una historia hermosa con tal de pasar tiempo juntos, porque Doc le cuenta la historia de su Amor, le lee el diario que Alis Hamilton le dedico con tanto amor a Noa su esposo y compa帽ero Doc.
Durante el filme podemos ver como en momentos la se帽ora Hamilton tiene recuerdos sobre su vida, hasta termina bailando con su amor, pero son solo minutos porque nuevamente pierde los recuerdos. Tambi茅n vemos que los visita unos chicos que son sus hijos y nietos frutos de ese amor tan lindo.
Al pasar el dia Doc se reune con la se帽ora Hamilton en su habitaci贸n y luego de unas bellas palabras de amor se quedan dormidos juntos, falleciendo a la ma帽ana siguiente.
Esta pel铆cula tiene un significado 煤nico, el amor verdadero, no importa la distancia, la diferencia social, los obst谩culos, cuando existen dos personas que se aman no se necesita nada m谩s. El amor de Noa fue tanto que aun cuando Alis era una anciana con demencia senil que no recordaba nada ni conocia a nadie, 茅l estaba para ella, acompa帽andola y cuidandola en todo momento.
Particularmente a mi me encant贸, me hizo llorar a moco tendido, realmente muy sentimental y hermosa, adem谩s de la trama los paisajes son impresionantes. Si eres amante de las pel铆culas de amor se las recomiendo un mill贸n de veces.
