Before I start, I would like to ask a question.
What is popularity to you?

I would describe it as being known. Sometimes it could be as a result of a bad incident, sometimes it could be on the good plus side.
I don't think there's anyone that wants to be popular for something bad. Take for instance, Danni Sanders from the movie Not Okay. She got popular for her phraseIt's okay not to be okay, then she experienced the bad kind of popularity when everything turned out to be a lie.

We see in movies, where the popular girl moves in a clique of three. Everyone knows her, everyone wants to be her.
Is that me?... That would be a big fat No.
In secondary school, I was the quiet girl that only replied with one word to full blown sentences.

To put it ever so politely, I was unknown, but at the same time I was also known.
Let me explain it…….
I'm not the smartest person, but I do try so even though I hardly ever talked in class, my results spoke for me.
When I started a new Secondary School in a new state, I was known as the girl that came out of nowhere and beat everyone for the first position, which led me to winning a scholarship.

My brother has always been popular, my mum says he's like honey that people follow around.
Another thing I was known for in secondary school was being George's little sister.
I wasn't even sure people actually knew what my name was. Not that I really minded, I was okay being just the way I am.

Let's go to a few years later, university came with a whole new system.
One that petrified me.
How would I survive?
What if I can't make any friends?
What if I fail?
Many questions circulated through my brain, compiled with the fact that talking was really scary.

The first few years were harder than I thought. Time came with change and so did I.
Now, I wouldn't exactly call myself popular but I am known by a lot of people. Sometimes people call my name and I have no clue who they are.

The things I'm basically known for are being the left handed girl with a fine handwriting (this is in relation to most of my lecturers because I always sit in front), the talkative girl. It's funny how I went from being so quiet to talking to everyone around me with hesitation and now, people know my name.
I'm no longer, The little sister but Claudia
Like Henry Danger would say, It feels good.

So basically that's it, I wasn't really known in secondary school other than the fact that I was a little smart and in University, I blossomed into a better version. One I really like.

Another thing that I forgot to add, my name. I think that's one of the reasons it's so well known, because I'm the only girl with it.

I've never been one to like the spotlight, it's more convenient for me not to be really seen but I do hope that if I'm ever going to be popular, it's of the good kind.
To answer the question, *Am I still active in them?

I'm never changing from being a left handed person, neither will my name change, my brain still does the talking. The only thing that I would say changed was growing into myself and stepping out of the shadow of my brother's name and it's been wonderful so far.
