Ladies of Hive gives prompts that has me smiling at first, then my brain engines starts to work and I think can I write this prompt?
This week's own I found very interesting.

What job would I be absolutely terrible at?
I have to admit I had no clue what I would be terrible at. I'm a pretty organized person, not all that put together but I try my best
I had to get an external opinion and I had my answer.
Babysitting

I love children. I absolutely love them but I'm not the most patient person. In my mother's words "I'm not calm".
Taking care of children is quite demanding and generally, specifically between ages, two to seven are very difficult to deal with. For example if a child starts to cry and I try my best to pacify the child. If the crying persists I'll probably end up getting frustrated at myself and the child.

Another reason why I would be terrible at babysitting is that I’m not very good at coming up with creative activities for children. Kids need to be entertained and engaged in activities, but I’m not very good at coming up with fun and interesting things for them to do.
My only version of creativity would involve cutting paper to make designs which will end up with us dirtying the house with pieces of paper.

My mother used to say that I would forget my head if it wasn't attached to my body. I forget things alot especially when I hold them with my left hand.
It gets so bad that sometimes I even forget that I haven't eaten yet and I have to wait till my tummy rubbles. So imagine me that doesn't even remember to eat having to look after another human being entirely.
Two of us will probably end up hungry (lol) especially if it's a child that can't talk.

I didn't just sit down and decide I wouldn't be good at Babysitting. I've actually had the job without pay of course when I had to look after my little brother.
My parents went out, my older brother was in a boarding school at that time and I convinced my parents that I was "matured" enough to take care of him myself. Little did they know they were leaving their baby in the care of another child.

I did a good job until I accidentally bruised him while trying to feed him. He cried and it got to a point I was so confused I threatened him out of frustration that I would drink his milk. Apparently babies do not understand human language so that didn't work.
Instead, the intensity of the crying increased. I didn't know what else to do so I joined him in crying.
That was how my parents met us both. They never left me alone with him again.

I can play with children, pinch their cute little cheeks and carry them but only for a short period of time.
I am getting to the point when I'll have kids and I know that before I have the six children I want I would have to work on this.
Or I could be lucky to get the " mother's instinct" people talk about and everything will just flow naturally but until then....
Dear future children, please don't cry too much.
