Bora bora has been for many years my number one place to visit. It stays there at number one on my bucket list.
You see, this place is so remote and away from civilization. It's so tiny that if you don't know where to look on the map you will miss it. I have been fascinated with islands, scavenging and survival mode ever since I watched the movie "Blue Lagoon" and "The return to the blue lagoon". I am fascinated with islands, because if you were to get stranded on an island, I wish it was on Bora Bora. When humans are faced with life and death situation then you act on your critical thinking and everything that you do must ensure your survival. You have to know how to collect food, build shelter, make use of whatever you find there and possibly make tools.
Well, of course that is not the reason I want to go to Bora Bora. I want to go there because that place is such a paradise. There is so much beauty there. I would be interested in seeing things off the beaten path. I have abused Google Earth in virtually exploring this place.
When I think about Bora Bora , I imagine that this place is quiet. I imagine you can only hear the sounds of the waves and birds singing. I dream of lounging in one of those over the water bungalows and sipping on a nice cold cocktail, breath in all the beauty of this place.
I have looked into packages and I almost went for my 30th birthday, but that was not meant to be. I am still dreaming of this place and I will never give up on dreaming to go there , until I go there.
Sure there's the Maldives as well- but for me it's Bora Bora where I want to go. Ya'll can donate steem after steem so I can make this dream come true. I even painted this yellow heart decoration and put it in my office as a reminder that that's where I want to go.

Galapagos Islands is #2 on my bucket list.
Komodo Island is # 3 on my bucket list. I really want to see Komodo dragons in their own environment.
