Many years ago, when I was very little, my paternal family, being very large, held unforgettable gatherings on every birthday, but yes, very familiar. We concentrated on my grandmother's house, my father's mother and waaaoo!!!... Those moments, which will never be erased from my memory, were unique, they could never miss the themes of great artists that made the skeleton move and enjoy, among them I can name: Rubby Perez, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Diveana, Olga Tañón, Elvys Crespo, it was a very varied content of two genres, La Salsa and El Merengue, and if I continue naming the list it would be endless and of course, it was impossible to listen and dance to "Miriam Cruz y las Chicas"... Miriam was part of "Las Chicas del Can", a merengue group that was initially formed under the name "Las Chicas" by "Belkys Concepción", until the beginning from the 1980s that gave it the aforementioned name, a group of which "Wilfrido Vargas" later had tutelage. This group was made up of several Dominican women both in the instrumental part and in the choral and vocal part, and it was officially the first female merengue orchestra, thanks to this group Miriam officially began her career as a singer, she was the vocalist, popularizing with her voice several songs in different countries, in 1992 Miriam decides to create her own project under the name "Miriam Cruz y las Chicas", as I mentioned before. Well, this is one of those songs by this wonderful group that was a boom at the time, and that, despite the years, we still keep these gold pieces alive. "La Loba" is the name of the song below, a composition of "Ramón Orlando Valoy García", popularized by these beautiful ladies, released in 1995. I hope you enjoy it!!!!.
