God resists the proud and gives more grace to the humble.
Pride is a spirit that wants to process you. It makes you feel important and makes one look down on other. A proud person does not take correction. Pride is in every man, but we control ourselves not to allow pride to bring us down. When you live in pride, you live a life of self centered. God hate a proud look. God love people that are humble. You can not dictate a man that have pride when he has not yet made it. Everybody would wants to be submissive when good things has not come their way.
Pride is a strong spirit, when it visits a person, it can destroy the entire personality of that person. Pride is a selfish spirit that can destroy you at anytime when you give your heart to it. People with a proud look, always think that they are correct when they make mistakes. Correction is not in their dictionary. People with proud look are always concerned about themselves and not others, they want people to worship them. People with proud look see things the way others don't see it, they are rude and arrogant. They don't show mercy when you offend them, except you lick their shoes, wash and their feet
Lucifer was the Angel in charge in heaven but pride became his friend. He was no more comfortable with the poor given to him. In pride he lifted up his heart to be against God. Lucifer wants the angels to worship him the way they worship God, so he conspired with the angels in heaven to be with him. God then lifted another angels in his stead unknowingly to him.
Isaiah 14:12:16
"How you have falling from heaven oh shunning star, son of the morning, you have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nation of the world. For you said to yourself, I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God's stars. I will preside on the amount of the gods far away in the North. I will climb to the highest heaven and be like the Most High. Instead, you will be brought down to the place of death down to it's lowest part. Everyone there will stir at you and ask: can this be the one who shook the earth, and make the kingdom of the would tremble".?
A proud look will always want to belittle their superior. Lucifer was lifted in pride, in his heart he concluded that God is not big enough to lead him. He is the number one Angel with legions of angels bowing down before him, but each time he bows before God he's always angry that he's too big and powerful to bow down before God. Been the angel in charge, power has been given to him to rule. He was ruling in pride, placing himself as God in heaven.
A proud look will want to be the lord to their Lord. They don't settle for less, they always want to be on top, but at the end they are always brought down. Great men are brought down in their pride to the grave.
Story
A proud rich man and a proud poor man met in an open field, the proud rich man commanded the poor man to do his wish and desire because he's working for the rich man, then this proud poor man refused to do his will. He asked him to resign from his duties, he said unless you do my will, then you can retain your job. The proud poor man answered: I prefer to go hungry than to serve you. He left looking for another opportunity, anywhere this proud poor man foes, the rich man would track him and block his ways. This proud rich man frustrated this proud poor man. The poor man out of thought slum and died. This rich poor man was very exited with what he did and said: in your next life you will learn a lesson not to humiliate people that can be of help to you.
It is an error for a poor man to live a life full of pride because he can never climb to the top. When the spirit of pride is at work, it destroy people around him. This was how this rich man destroyed the life of the poor proud man to save his ego.
In a kingdom, we have only one ruler that exercise power and authority to his subordinate. But a man with proud look would want to establish his own kingdom in other for him not to be subject to any authority. He would not want to be ruled by any, he wants to be a ruler.
When a town is crying the cry of hope, a proud look would not want hope to come to the community, but he would want to be the hope that people would acknowledge him as the hope of he community. When you place your hope upon a proud look, he will promise you all sort of things where there are people in other for people to acknowledge him. Deep inside of him his mouth has spoken proud words but in his his heart he's not ready to fulfill what he promised.
A proud look has no conscience but his conscience condemns others and turn their heart against their loved ones. The proud In Their high esteem are always brought down to the dust.
A proud look don't think of the raining days, they believed that they will not be at the mercy of anyone, so they do things the way they like not regarding what people do but they regard themselves. They are so important, this is what they say to the society. They love to enslave people around them. They look at others with low degree, they belittle people and take away joy from the heart of men.
Conclusion:
Pride is a selfish spirit that are mandated to bring down the great in their high esteem to their eternal home.
