June 8th 2019: Venus enters Gemini, bringing the energy of teenagers experimenting with fashion, learning to drive, dreaming about college and traveling. In Gemini, Venus is especially thrilled by variety, options, choices, freedom.
Temperance represents making adjustments that restore wholeness. Temperance comes after Death in the major arcana: when Death's clear-cutting is complete, the spirit of Temperance brings life back into balance.
Venus in Gemini as Temperance is a symbol for all things having their right place, at the right time, in the right amount- with the understanding that the rightness is fluid depending on the whims of our desires. A basic recipe for cookies will ask for three cups of flour, two cups of sugar, one cup of butter, and two eggs- but it can be customized infinitely to suit any appetite.
