I miss the times when me and my friends didn't even have Facebook. We just hang out even if we don't have money - oh college dayz lol!

I hear you there. With my previous job I felt like I had to quit because of the people who were mentally taxing. And now I'm facing this looming anxiety due to uncertainty. I can't wait to start my new job! I hope everything will turn out fine (background check).

I had one of my professors bad mouth me on a reference check despite him telling me that he would give me a good reference.

So sorry to hear, that sucks! I can't imagine you still had to work with him! You must be so strong. Now I realize that other people have had it worse.
