I am a Type 2 Diabetic and take 3 different injections plus 3 Oral Medications.
Wow, and I thought that I had it bad, having to be injected once every day! I started out already being trypanophobic (having a fear of needles), and the insulin injections only made that worse. I hate diabetes, and I want to quit it, haha. I want to revoke my diabetes membership, lol. But unfortunately it isn't as simple as just "giving up" diabetes, as if it were giving up smoking or alcohol.
The Panic/Anxiety has basically made me agoraphobic and I only go out to Medical Appointments.
I can so associate with this. By the time COVID-19 began, I was already a "lockdown professional", haha. I am starting to get back out into the community here though. I am even taking up a new sport ... Disc Golf, which is kind of like a cross between traditional golf and beach frisbee throwing, except without the catching part. It is something that I can do outdoors, either alone or in small groups. There is a local Disc Golf course within 10 minutes walk from where I live. I'll be out there on the green, with my zimmer frame, haha!
...to save our country against all Oz
Here in 🇳🇿 Aotearoa / New Zealand, we refer to our neighbour 🇦🇺 Australia as "Oz", lol. You need to be saved from all Oz, huh? So do we mate, so do we!
