Just wanted to let you all know how grateful i am for each and every person, i appreciate you all! I know all the comments i receive are sent with love (just everyone has different ways of expressing this). But i honestly wish i could reply back to every message i receive but due to the sheer volume it is not something i can stay on-top of unfortunately.
Alhumdulillah i have been blessed with a very diverse following from all walks of life & one thing i have had to accept is that i can not please everyone, and everyone has different expectations. Some may not like my dress code, others have a problem my beard is not a certain length, some don’t agree with my hair and the fact i don't wear a hat at all times - i think you guys get the point.
Most of these expectations derive from peoples cultures and upbringing. We all need to learn to communicate effectively and accept and respect different perspectives/opinions. A difference in opinion doesn't have to equal beef. Love & Respect = Understanding & Progress
There were so many companions who looked different & brought different cultures which The Messengerï·º embraced & used as an asset. It's a sunnah to embrace these different cultures that do not violate the fundamental values of Islam.
My goal has always been to relate to the youth. I know first hand what problems they go though on a daily basis. Our sisters are finding comfort admiring those who are not worthy of admiration. Our young brothers are following those who are leading to a life filled with: drugs, zinnah etc.. they are more inclined towards this celebrity culture that has been created and the reason behind this is very simple, they feel a sense of connection, they are able to relate to them on many different levels, the way they dress, speak etc. I feel we need to be doing more to counter this and have positive substitutes.
May Allah swt guide us all to the straight path. I am in the blessed lands and have been making dua for the whole ummah, private message me for any Dua requests, May Allah accept from all of us.
