It is not only that steem price is going down but all the alternate cryptocurrency rather than Bitcoin all are coming down because we see a uptrend in Bitcoin so the reason is that the alternate coin will goes down it is totally opposite to Bitcoin.
Steem price is calculated on basis of Bitcoin ,steem coin is buying through Bitcoin only so if Bitcoin price will rises suddenly then there will be down trade to steem coin.if the Bitcoin prices remains stable then we see the rise in the price of steem coin
