Hi colleagues, today I really felt like creating a new drawing for you. I drew a new card from Rising Star. The one I chose for today is R213 SA Cream Mic. As you can see, it's a cute microphone with a cylindrical shape. It's cream-colored, so I think that's why they chose that curious name for it. I really like its style; it has a somewhat futuristic aesthetic. I've never seen it in real life, so maybe it's unique to the game's universe.
Okay, so now I'm going to show you how I made this drawing. I started by creating the sketch in two applications: one part in IbisPaint X, and the other in Paint, the classic Windows application. In the first one, I made the frame that you'll see below.
After finishing the frame in the second application, I began drawing the microphone. As you can see, I started by drawing the handle, that is, the part you hold, and then the top part where you speak, that is, where it picks up the sound.
In the next stage, I drew several internal lines to create divisions. Each division will have different colors, so the lines help me separate the parts of the microphone, and they also give it an aesthetic touch.
Now I'll show you the painting process; you'll see how everything takes shape here. I mainly used pure colors, but also some gradients near the microphone. This allowed me to create the green trail around it, just like in the original card. Here's the step-by-step process.
