Colleagues, my drawing today is inspired by a new microphone I painted, using card E324 ACII as a reference. This is a very beautiful card; you only have to look at its aesthetic—it's gorgeous. I really like the psychedelic touches it has with the gradient colors. As for the microphone itself, it's just as impressive, with gold finishes and gradients that make it very elegant. I tried to capture those effects in my drawing. You can tell me later if you like how it turned out or if I came close to the effect of the original card.
You could already see an example of how I did it on the cover of this post, showing the final result, but now I want you to join me to see how I did it from beginning to end. I promise it will be interesting to watch. Well, as usual, I started by drawing what would be the inner frame of the card.
After the frame, I painted the handle, that is, the central part. This is the part used to hold the microphone or to place it on a tripod. I should mention that I've painted microphone stands and tripods before, even from the same set. If you'd like to see them, they're available in my previous drawings. Once the handle was finished, I drew the top part, which is what picks up the singer's voice.
Moving on to the next step, what I drew here were several internal divisions to make painting easier later. Each division will have a different color, which helps a lot. It also helps the colors stand out better.
Now, let's get to the painting process. As you can see, I mostly used pure colors; only on the top of the microphone did I use digital spray paint to create those small dots. It's best if you see it for yourselves; here's the complete process.
And to wrap things up, folks, here's the final result, and that's it. What do you think? See you in the next drawing, blessings.
