Related to cursive… your post is making me think of the ads I keep seeing on instagram. For a fee a company will create a cursive signature for you. They give you like 3 styles to choose from and send practice sheets so can do your new signature over and over until it is “perfect”.

So not only can we not write in cursive anymore… our insecurities over it have now created a market where a fancy cursive signature is now an elitist symbol of status and wealth.
