I think people are getting mad because they have been told to get mad. Homosexuals and transgender folks should have every right to live a life where they can honestly be themselves. Where they can participate in activities they find fun/rewarding/interesting. To use a restroom in a public space. To receive compassionate and comprehensive medical care. To be at their partner’s side as family/next of kin during end of life situation at hospitals. For decades/generations up until quite recently homosexuals were arrested for being homosexual. They were denied jobs. They had to hide their lives and their loves. They were denied the right to make medical decisions for their life partners. They couldn’t share life insurance on family plans. All kinds of things straight people could always do. Now they’ve finally been awarded some openness and opportunity that the rest of us have always had and people get pissed. I think the folks who scream the loudest about wokeness and sjw should take a look in the mirror and think about what propaganda is driving their anger.
