I love this! I also sense a Mountain theme to your choices. Out of your places I have been to Switzerland and Banff. Both are gorgeous. I used to lead tours through Banff and the Canadian Rockies when I was a youngster.

I would like to go (in no particular order):

1. Cape Town
2. Santorini
3. Japan
4. Montreal/Quebec City/Toronto/Niagara (one trip)
5. The pyramids in Mexico.

I have some friends who have done Machu Picchu. They loved it.
