Ahhh @blewit. These posts about your dogs make me so happy and so sad at the same time. You are so lucky to have walked life with all four pups and to know their absolute devotion to you. And they are so lucky to have lives where they a re loved, spoiled and cared for. I haven’t had to do the last deed for my boys yet, but I know the time will come so much sooner than I want. And I know it will break me and if steemit exisits still you will find me here the same as you.

I am not sure what I think of an afterlife. I too probably have more scientific leanings. But science does say that energy is neither created nor destroyed. You could look at this in a religious sense and think that the spirit of a person or an animal lives on in heaven or whatever. Or you could think about how the energy of your precious pups is still out in the universe surrounding you. Blowing in the wind on your face helping the grass beneath your feet grow. I think whatever happens it’s too complex for us to understand I think that they are with you. Even if your logical mind can’t see how that’s possible. Sending big hugs your way always my friend.
