Yesterday was excellent.

I ended up downtown at Seattle’s Pike Place Martket kicking it with some of my oldest friends and their families.

I skipped taking a photo of the main entrance yesterday so got this freebie from pixabay.

Some background

Freshman year of high school I met my friends Ned and Guy. They’ve been friends since kindergarten but we all met at 14. I spent many many days hanging with these two (and Ned’s little sis Elizabeth) at Ned’s parent’s house growing up.

After graduation, I went to the University of Washington and Ned ended up a couple hours away at Central Washington University. His roommate ended up being this hilarious guy named Trevor. I spent a lot of time visiting Ned at Central, so Trevor and I became good friends too.

Well, mid way through college Trevor met an exchange student from Malta. They got married and he has lived in Malta, with his wife and their three children ever since. Every few years they come back to Seattle to visit.

Yesterday was one of those visits!!! 🎉

The eleven of us met at Lowell’s for lunch. After we wandered through Pike Place Market and down to the waterfront. It was a gorgeous day to be out and about.
