Would you not find important that all players on all platforms have equal playing interface. It has become apparent that players using API (namely bots) are free to easily chose any level of their card for a battle, which is not the same in case of other players (namely humans) that are using UI of a platform (could be desktop, could be mobile app, etc).

Personally I am noticing need for a kind of division maintaining equality of playing for all players on all platforms (namely any UI, API).

The need to know rarity of a card is now important for desktop platform. Same kind that is existing for mobile app. You made new rules of attacking involving rarity of a card.
