Hey buddies!
It's been practically a century since I've seen a Christmas tree in my house, tomorrow my mom is coming to visit us for lunch and so we have decorated the house a bit in Christmas style, I must admit that it makes me very strange to see the lights in my home environment, because honestly it's been so many years since we had a tree, both my wife and I are not really into Christmas spirit.
My mom is the exact opposite of us, she's extremely in love with Christmas, in her house there's never a lack of tree and nativity scene, it looks like a Christmas store, and the tree is full of balls, ours is still to be defined and we need to increase it a bit, to make her happy.
It will be a very strange Christmas for everyone, also because as far as I'm concerned we can't go out of the village, in fact I could only walk around the block next to my house, in these afternoons I'll be working until the 26th then I'll be home for a few days to go back to work again and stay home the last days of the year.
So I will spend a good part of my days during the holidays working together with the guys of the community trying to make them cheer up a little despite the distance from their families, unfortunately this is the situation, it is like that and so we try to make them spend these days as much as possible in joy.
From pictures of this article you can also see some stones, which have nothing to do with Christmas, but it's a collection that I've been carrying on for a long time and I like it a lot, they are minerals and stones from all over the world, also combined with rocks, like the geode, the one in the single photo, formed by masses of magma.
Although they are neither white nor red I think they give that extra touch of Christmas. I've always liked collections, I've started and stopped some, but I think I'll be able to finish this last one.
I wish you all and your families a very happy Christmas, see you tomorrow, a big hug to all of you!
Ciao Amici!
