Hey buddies!

Any child who's ever had the opportunity to find one of these flowers in a meadow, probably one of the first things that came to his mind was to blow on its fragile petals, which spread their seeds in the air. Curious how its stem, on the contrary, is very strong and if folded, it returns to an upright position without much trouble.

Its mutation is extraordinary, from an intense yellow color crowned by full-bodied petals to become a white ball almost transparent composed of many fine threads. The dandelion has many nicknames, which derive from the most varied popular customs, personally I have always called it "big blow" (a translation from Italian of the word "soffione" to make me understand), and it's easy to guess why.

I discovered reading some articles on the internet that there are legends behind it. The one that fascinated me the most comes from Ireland, where it is approached to elves, gnomes and fairies, the latter would have very bright clothes and to hide from the humans arrival, who love to destroy everything and step on them on purpose, found themselves forced to change into so tenacious flowers.

This ancient story reminds me a bit of Hive's birth, but on the opposite, destroyed by someone the dream of so many users of the previous platform, now it has turned into something that seems to be much more solid and united.

Even the transformation of the flower itself reminds me a bit of the Steemit-Hive duo, a beautiful yellow prosperous flower, that when it reaches the apex of its flowering, completely changes shape and the wind disperses its seed to the green prairies of web!

It's also said to bring good luck if it's blown away by lovers and to bring surprises and magic. Of course it's just a rumor, but then again, even for us who are here to support each other, dreaming doesn't cost anything!

Ciao Amici!
