Greeting Summoners
Another day, another new Splinterlands story. This time it is about the Eggceleration modifier and I recall perfectly this is not the first post I talk about this modifier... or ruleset if you confuse with that vocabulary.
Eggceleration, you know the modifier with that shiny colorful egg, is a modifer that makes all units gain +1 to all stats at the end of each round. So the more rounds we have, the longer the battle, every units get stronger up to a level that no unit can stop or compete against them.
For me, when we have this modifier, things get simple. Buff up and win but don't let opponent get too powerful and wipe you out. So either you go kill their units asap, or you defend some of your unit until they get OP and wipe your opponent... but keep in mind that your opponent units are growing up too and will be OP too.
The reason I make this post about Eggceleration again because recently I see some of my opponents lost badly against me when we had this modifier. Those wins were not due to my superiority or my brilliance , but more like they got lost in the line up.
So let's check it now!
Ok this was the battle I pick. It was a 12 mana cap battle, this was my forte. It sounds like an arrogance, but I am indeed very good at small mana cap battle. Might not the best, but you won't get into one of the best if you can not beat me. lol
Enough for the bragging, both of us came with different meta, I mean completely different. I would not say my opponent came with a bad line up, it was good but he was lost or too far to be able to exploit the Eggceleration modifier.
I knew what he aimed with that line up. He wanted to buy time as long as he could, in order to get his Abyssal Elemental buffed up as an OP unit. When that time came, his Endless Gibbon would be an OP too. The mistake was, when he bought time, I got time too lol.
So buying time by deploying idle tank was a bad idea for this modifier, unless if you had a mega hitter that you wanted to make it as a bullshit one punch man, then things would be different.
The right thing for his case was only 2 approaches:
So this was what happened in round 2. His Abyssal Elemental got buffed up and so did his Gibbon. Those two became powerful, however all my units became powerful too. So this did not make any different. He did not outwit the rule. Did I make it? Yes I did, we could look what happened later.
Round 4 was the last one. In this round you could see Abyssal Elemental became a scary one, 5 magic damage, an armor and 4 health point. He became a glass cannon. However look at all my unit. Those units had became OP. And all of them were surviving, capable on killing any unit in one blow.
So remember two points I said above, deploy and nuture units which could make a one hit one kill, or build up healing so when everyone gets OP, you have more OP units.
That's all I could say for this post. Feel free to express your opinion about it here and see you in Splinterlands Battles!
