Hi guys!
Today I will do a couple of test fits then make some plans for detailing the knee. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!

Thigh Test Fit
First, I will do a test fit with the thigh so I can check the proportion of the knee compared to the thigh.
Then I want to test the articulation of the knee to see if I would need to make any adjustment to it.
From the articulation I can decide how much of the bottom thigh I should cover. However, I'll probably leave that until the whole leg is complete.

Waist Test Fit
Next is waist test fit and I want to check proportion with the bottom leg too.
Before I start making the other point of articulation between the knee and the bottom leg, I want to see how high the knee should be from the bottom leg.
I'm thinking about this much should look okay. Also, I think I'm gonna have to do a little scratch build for the connection between the knee and the bottom leg.
Since the plastic on the bottom leg is pretty thin so I don't think just embedding a connector would be enough.
But I will start sketching something on paper later once both knees are complete.

Plan for Detailing
Since I'm still not sure whether I can build that c-joint I'm planning so I will detail the knee first.
I want the details to be quite sophisticated but not overcrowded. I will play around with pla plates and panel lines on this one.
At this point I am really holding myself back from detailing more than the knee because I really want to finish the base of this kit first before detailing.

Before and After
Before I start detailing the knee I want to cover the other knee first. Because I want to the detail them at the same time if possible.
So tomorrow I will cover the other knee with pla plates, reshape the edges, cover the rest of the sides, clean up then resharpen the edges and make small adjustments if necessary.
After that I can start detailing both knees before trying to make a c-joint. Because I've only seen them on the internet and I never actually tried making c-joints myself so not sure how that will go.
And so this is my updates for today on this Devil Gundam x Neue Ziel Project.
Keep on building! Keep on steeming! Have a nice day!

Quick access tutorial:
- Fixing broken peg using gunpla runer and several tools.
- Fixing holes using cement and plastic scraps.
