After leaving the cement overnight
After a couple of failed attempts on making the piston finally this one works!
First I make sure that the hole fits the rod by using the hand drill with the same size as the rod / gunpla runer.

Cleaning up the surface
Then using file I slowly sand the surface of the piston. Getting the piston into circular shape was quite a bit of a challenge.
However, the result looks great so all those failed attempts was really worth it.

Test fit
Using this method I will complete the piston in no time. I will make another batch then move onto the second piston.
One end of the piston will be permanently cemented with the rod later when everything is ready.
After the connector with the lower leg is done. Also the test fit then I can finalize this modification. Because if I cement the piston right now it would be very hard to change it later without damaging it.
The friction between the runer and the pla plate also good enough to hold a position so that the actual kit can do a pose later. However, I will surely test this later.
