Rinse and repeat
The process is exactly the same as yesterday. I start marking the rings using a circular template also mark the middle.
Which has to be spot on because this will be the hole where the piston goes in and out. So a misalignment will be a problem later.

However, I've come up with a solution for that if for one reason or another that should happen.
By using pla plate scraps and tamiya thin cement I can fill in any holes of imperfections on the surface.

After the markings are all done. I drill a hole using the proper size with the piston.
Then trim off the ring from the pla strip as close as I can get to the edges.
Clean up the surface using file and sanding sponge since it's an uneven surface.

Now when cleaning the surface of the rings I make sure I don't over do it since it is very easy to lose details on the edges.
Because of the nature of the sponge and how much pressure you are putting into it.
The sharpness of the edges will decrease if you sand too much with sponge but using a stick you might not get a perfect ring. After enough clean up, I adjust each hole using file to match the runer I will be using later as a rod.

Final prep
Now all the prep work is complete I will try to cement this first batch tomorrow.
And fingers cross this one will really work so I can finally finish the piston for both the legs of this Devil Gundam x Neue Ziel.
