Devil Gundam: Movable Thumb Mechanism [Hand Scratch Build - Part 30]

Hi guys!

Today I will continue making mechanism for the scratch build thumb for my Project Devil Gundam.

Adjusting thickness with pla plates

Since my measurement wasn't very precise I have to add pla plates to adjust the thickness. Rather than redo the whole process and throwing away this mod I've made already. And I need to clean up the surface before I cement any pla plates to it. To make sure I have a level surface to work with.

Different angle

This pla plate should do the job adding a little bit of thickness.

I used pla plates scraps

Luckily I never throw everything pla plate scraps away. I kept the medium and bigger size since I'll never know when I could use them. And this is one modification where I could use a few scraps.

Trimmed off the edges a little

Sometime I can't wait for the cement tor cure properly so in this case I trimmed the edges a little. So I would have less work for tomorrow.

Cemented and trimmed both pieces already

Now, I'm going to leave these to cure properly (nothing else I could do) then continue my work later.
