Hi guys!
Today, I will clean up and reshape the mechanism for the knee and bottom leg then do a quick trim on the bottom leg. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!
Today, I will clean up and reshape the mechanism for the knee and bottom leg then do a quick trim on the bottom leg. So here are updates on Project Devil Gundam!
Clean Up and Reshape
First, I trim and reshape the bottom part of this mechanism then do a quick test fit with the bottom leg.
Cleaning Up Excess
Then I clean up the excess cement and pla plates on these small details on the side using hobby knife, file and finish with sanding stick.
Trimming Process
Next, I trim the part of the bottom leg. Copy pasting it from the leg side to the right side. This is to make some room for the pegs between the thigh and waist so it will have more range of motion.
First, I mark where I want to trim then using handsaw (since the plastic is thicker than regular pla plates) I slowly cut through it. I try cutting above the guidelines I made since the handsaw could easily scratch plastic. So these are my update on Project Devil Gundam for today.
Tomorrow, I will clean up and reshape other mechanism then do a quick test fit. Keep on building! Keep on steeming! Have a nice day!
