Devil Gundam: Connecting Arms and Hands [Arm Modification - Part 20]

As usual keep test fitting it with the pla rods. For this modification, I made sure that the pla rods and the holes fit perfectly. Since I will remove the excess and clean up the surface later and any gaps will be extra work.

I'm going to clean this up since I will cement the connector through this holes and clean surface non negotiable. Otherwise that excess plastic will leave a gap when I try to cement the connector later.

This is the tricky bit. Since I want the hole to line up properly between the arm and the connector. I tightly snug the connector in between the arm and eye levelling it to make sure it's straight. Then carefully marked each holes with scribing pen. The rest is just rinse and repeat.

Since I've done so many test fits with the pla rod, arms and this connector. This part is just final check before cementing the pla rods in place. I cut short the pla rods after inserting them into the holes.

I used extra thin cement for this one because the regular one could be quite messy. And I might lost some details there if i make a mistake by putting too much cement.

Notice that I used as much extra thin cement as possible to close any small gaps between the pla rods and the holes.

If done correctly there won't be any gaps left there and I guess we'll see that tomorrow when the cement has cured properly. So those are my updates for today on Project Devil Gundam!
