Hi guys!
It's time for project update.
Here are some ideas I have for the main body of the devil gundam
For some reason it looks like V Gundam (which I have in my backlog!). My goal is to use as many parts of the Neue Ziel as I possibly can to sort of upgrade the Devil Gundam. Since you know from the anime Devil Gundam can upgrade itself with whatever its found lying around.
Note:I still have no idea on how I'm going to attach the fin yet but nevertheless ideas are great.
This is going to be the arm replacement.
Brainstorming some ideas here. I think I should try drawing this next time so I get to practice my drawing skill as I'm building this kit. Although, I'm not really sure with this particular arm attachment idea, I'll just keep on going for ideas for now.
I will turn the giant gundam face into a shield/backpack
I'll make some *minor adjustments on the giant gundam mask so it should be attachable on the back of the devil gundam. FYI I used blutec to attach the small face part temporarily.
Since this is my first ever kit bash, I'm not really sure if I should rebuild the inner frame. The standard kit itself doesn't have an inner frame so probably I won't go that far. Although a challenge is always fun (frustrating on the process though).
When I finish this kit bash (maybe a couple more months), I will turn it into an ebook/guide (let me know if you are interested) and put some more detail on how I build it. I'm planning on putting some custom panel lines, parts separation (effects from custom panel lines), custom paint and some scratch build parts for this project so we'll see how that goes.
