Sentul Nirvana Lotus Lake
Last weekend I had the chance to stop by one of the cool and aesthetic spots in Sentul... namely the Sentul Nirwana Lotus Lake. Actually, I had been walking around the Sentul area since morning, and when it was almost evening around 16:00, I decided to stop by this lake for a while... But unfortunately I couldn't stay long because my body was starting to get tired and I was afraid of getting stuck in traffic on the way home. When we arrived at the location, we would find a small gate that was the main entrance for pedestrians or joggers... The gate could not be passed by motorbikes or cars, but don't worry, vehicles could still enter through the side door. There was a parking lot there, so it was still safe and comfortable.
This lake has a calm and soothing atmosphere. On the surface of the water, lotus plants grow which make the lake look really beautiful... In the middle of the lake there is also an artificial fountain that is always on, and adding to the fresh and lively impression. Along the lake there is a footpath surrounded by shady trees, including rows of tall palm trees that create a really tropical atmosphere. Also, along the road there are garden lamp posts that definitely make the night atmosphere at this lake even more romantic. Although I didn't have time to wait until night, I can already imagine how romantic it would be if the lights were on.
Another interesting thing is that there are duck boats on this lake... Yes, ducks that you can rent to go around the lake. When I was there, several families and children were having fun riding the duck boats. It was so funny to see them pedaling while laughing. If you come in a group, this is really fun to try.
Not far from the lake area, there is also an aesthetic cafe that faces directly onto the water. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop by because it was getting late and I still had to go home... From the outside, the place looks really cozy for hanging out while having coffee and enjoying the view of the lake...
What makes me really like this place is, the place calm, clean, and cool atmosphere. There are many people come to jog, take a leisurely walk, take pictures, or sit on the park benches scattered around the lake.
My visit was short, but this Lotus Lake managed to recharge me for a moment. Next time, I really want to come earlier, bring supplies, and enjoy the atmosphere longer. For those of you who are looking for a relaxing place not far from Jakarta or Bogor, this Sentul Nirwana Lotus Lake could be a great choice.
