Hello, Friends especially DIY ers.. Howdy? Hope you are all wonderful and can’t wait for December 25th hohoho… This time, I would like to share one of the Pop up card I made for this season, Glam Rudolph.. I hope this article would be an inspiration for you who want to make a handmade Christmas card that would be heartwarming during this season…

MATERIALS & THINGS NEEDED:

  • Thick paper or thin cardboard in green
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Origami papers
  • Glue stick
  • Beige paper – I used the paper from unused envelope
  • Glitter glue
  • Black marker

HOW TO MAKE IT:

1ST

I measured the green thick paper that I have to get the size I wanted for the Christmas card. Then I cut it off and folded it in the middle.

2ND

I then cut the brown origami for the body shape. It would be like the letter C. I also prepared the big oval for the head part.

3RD

Glued the body to the green paper. And then prepared the area near the nose and also the stags with the unused beige paper I could find.

4TH

After that, I also cut off the red origami for the red nose, two pink circle cheeks, then I pasted the area near the nose and also the nose on the brown head part. I then draw a mouth and two small eyes there. Then I folded the head part like W Shape, with the middle part pop up like below, then only glued two of its right and left part of head, plus the stags too. The result would be like below.

5TH

I then also cut off some origami papers with other color than brown, glued them under the stag then drew some lines to connect it to the stags. It would represent the Christmas light bulbs, and last would only décor it with the glitter glue. I used some different color and also pattern for each of the bulb.

I also made some dots with the red glitters on the top and around the red nose. Then voila, the Glam Rudolph is finished. Isn’t it soo cute?
