Ask an adult what his first memory is and remind him that he's probably 7 years old. Some are later, some earlier, but it is rare to have a memory of the first 4-5 years. Apparently all the people have gone from amnesia to young years, it is a bit strange?

The official term is infantile amnesia. We're not sure what it is. This is a difficult issue because the memory itself is incredibly complex, and large sections are still unknown. After that, there will be a scientific consensus on what we can actually agree on and what we can test with experiments.
I'm going to go through the entire memory entry and focus on episodic / autobiographical memories. These are the memories of events taking place at a particular place and time.

The second thing I've already said is that there are two forgetting stages. Early stage up to 4 years of age and a phase between 5-7 years. Most people have no memories of the first stage in practice and are less than the second stage.
