I think a lot of people choose to buy dedicated servers and they save money and get to choose their stacks. With cloud like aws, azure etc, it's billing nightmare. I think VSC node can be done on cheap server though witness node is hard. Cost is a lot initial few phases unless hive appreciates in near future.
