I remember the time when some of the fathers friends were recommending the job close to home for me. I denied knowing my father as hitler figure even to date. It was kind of like trap, you'd never get out of house by working in same city. I denied a lot of such job offers, sure, I suffered either way as my stars were meant for suffering. But sometimes denying saves a lot. I prefer those machine generated recommendations these days. We get matched with the business based on our past and current skills. AI is going to be doing a good job in this context and may replace traditional recruiters.
