I never understood pension system for the govt jobs either. Like you get out of the job, yet govt pays you? Why? for slowing down the work to millions of people? And tax money goes there. I suppose each one should have their own retirement account and not funded by tax of people. But by their own income. Because rest of the world does the same. I feel only healthcare should be universal and come out of our taxes and given to all people without discrimination. Unemployment and pension should not be a freebie given to all.
